Gotta Haves - My Brest Friend (Ultimate Nursing Pillow)

Although my husband is not a big fan of the name of this next Gotta Have, I find myself thinking, what's in a name? For this product, what I really should be asking is what's in a nursing pillow?

The “My Brest Friend” pillow was created (and named) locally in San Francisco. It has everything a nursing mom could want including a pocket to keep a bottle of water (or the TV remote) close at hand, plenty of support all around, and most importantly the ability to nurse with no hands. I was actually able to eat dinner and feed myself using “My Brest Friend.” The pillow wraps around, supporting the back, allowing your arm and elbow a place to rest, is adjustable and snaps into place.

All of these things and more have convinced me that “My Brest Friend” is the ultimate nursing pillow.

.

With its wrap-around/wearable design, “My Brest Friend” is intended solely for nursing. The single use is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing, of course, is that because it's intended just for nursing, it ensures that you have proper position and posture to achieve nursing success. On the flip side, once you're done nursing, you're also done with this pillow.

.

However, for the price at around $40 (as found at www.babiesrus.com), it's definitely worthwhile as you rack up the hours upon hours of nursing, saving your back, neck and shoulders unnecessary strain. Now dads, that doesn't mean your hardworking nursing mother of your child(ren) doesn't deserve a massage now and then!

.

Attention Readers: I am on the hunt for "The Perfect Diaper Bag" that I intend to write about in an upcoming article. If you have any suggestions for this or other "Gotta Haves", please send them to my attention at info@ponthep.com.
